There's that warm feeling you get when you see a light fixture like this. I can imagine this hanging in my dining room, an elegant cluster of 19 seemingly simple sockets with clear globe bulbs shining like little pieces of art. The ring moves up and down to create a gorgeous bouquet of lights.

This is not a trick or Photoshop manipulation. The "light bulb" floats in midair and can remain on for years without any physical contact, charging, or batteries. It consumes less than half the power of an incandescent bulb.

Shabby, Chic and Functional: The Lili Lite



The Lili Lite is a reading light with an auto sensor and a book shelf all in one. Brilliant! A sensor turns off the light when an open book is placed on the shelf. When the book is picked up again, the light automatically turns on. Hmm ... It also has a switch to turn the light on and off manually. Oh alright.
