What does the new modern man look like and how does he dress? If I had it my way, he would dress like Jon Kortajarena, here for Tom Ford. New modern luxury looks like this. Sur… Continue
Here's an interesting article about Jay-Z at Reuters. In it he talks about his forthcoming album, Blueprint 3, which comes out September 11th, eig… Continue
I've seen this video float around the web for some time now but only today did I truly come to appreciate it. This one lone fella just starts shaking it like no one's business and then suddenly others started to join him. One, two, three..and then a massive crowd followed.
Here's what Seth Godin had to say about it.
My favorite part happens just before the first minute mark. That’s when guy #3 joins the group. Before him, it was just a crazy dancing guy and then maybe one… Continue
Talk about an experience! If you've always dreamed about planting yourself on your La-Z-Boy and watching a gajillion hours of television, on not one, not two, not three but four screens - this wal… Continue
His story is incredibly remarkable. For almost three decades, John Francis has been a planetwalker, traveling the globe by foot and sail with a message of environmental respect and responsibility (for 17 of those years without speaking). During his monumental, silent trek, he earned an MA in environmental studies and a PhD in land resources. Today his Planetwalk foundation consults on sustainable development and works with educational groups to teach kids about the envi… Continue
Here at theMET, we've teamed up with the people over at National Geographic and had the privilege of screening this emotional documentary last week. It's a story of tragedy and hardship, but most importantly, hope.
Known as "China's Elephant Man," Huang Chuncai suffers from an extreme condition that has grotesquely deformed his face. Exceptionally large tumors have stunted his growth, left his bones undeveloped, caused his spine to buckle and restricted his breathing -… Continue
Has this man discovered the one, invisible jetpack left by our alien friends or is he just completely loco in the brain-o? Either way, you can't help but love this idea. Max "Bunny" Sparber throws on his invisible jetpack and putt… Continue
Absolutely love this short video created by Stuart O'Keeffe for Populous' song Man Overboard. As you know I have a thing for monsters, add in a groovy song and you've got a music video that's nothing short of awesome.

One of my friends passed me along this video. I think it does a good job at shedding some light on our current economic crisis. It's done tastefully and it feels raw and gritty, much like the times that lay before us. let me know what you think.
Also if you can I'd watch it in HD at this link. The image quality is a whole lot better

If you can sit through this 8+ min video you'll enjoy a nice story about a man who is convinced he has hidden superpowers. He seeks out his archenemy, hoping that it will help him discover his true powers.
This film was an exam made by students in Norwary, from The University of Bergen. More fun than the actual story is the idea that they had a hell of a fun time making it. Continue

This video interpretation of Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" is hilarious. Not to worry, my hearing impaired brethrens - the presentation is detailed in illustrations and explanations, just in case you couldn't hear the lyrics accurately.

I dig Peter Land's creative, funny, and deranged imagination. Born in Aarhus, Denmark in 1966, he studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and at Goldsmiths College in London.… Continue
A darling "advert" a.k.a. commercial with aK accent for Lynx deodorant, Axe's British-brand cousin, tells the story of how the first metro was created, and encourages the modern man to "Unleash the Man Leather". Think of it as "Metro Begins".
Lynx took the marketing a step further, and published a study that showed men who used Lynx deodorant were seen as more attractive by females than men who used a "placebo" deodorant with no fragrance. But it was not a smell test!… Continue

I feel for this poor bloke. As an unskillful snow athelete myself, I've come pretty close to facing the same fate.
In a bizarre incident that will surely lead to litigation (or an out-of-court settlement), a skier at Colorado's ritzy Vail ski resort was left dangling upside down and pantsless fro… Continue
My obsession with Beijing-born photographer Chen Man continues.
Celebrated as the best fashion/beauty photographer from the "born in the 80's" generation, Chen Man (陳曼) made a significant impact when she photogr… Continue
