NASA's HIghly Detailed Map of America's Trees



Josef Kellndorfer and Wayne Walker of the Woods Hole Research Center recently worked with the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Geological Survey to create this highly detailed map of all the trees in America. Wow, how fun are these? Canada-based visual artist Ingrid Dabringer finds art where most of us wouldn't normally look. She uses acrylic paint to draw playful and happy characters on, what else, but ordinary maps. “I like to elevate the mundane," she says. A Beautifully Designed Map of Manhattan - Jim Datz
