A fresh new set of minimalist movie posters has just come out by Dope Prints that pairs clever illustrations with iconic quotes. Shown in screenplay-style, as if each letter was typed, the quotes are those few words that somehow "make" the movie, the ones repeated over and over in trivia games or just on a Saturday afternoon among friends.
Designer Matteo Civaschi of Milan-based creative studio H-57 just sent us this awesome new collection of pictogram movie posters. A follow-up to their clever pictogram history posters, this set takes some popular movies, both old and new, and condenses their plots down to their most basic…

He's even got a great little story on…

"I think an influencer has a certain confidence that probably not many people have, that they know that what they're doing is the right thing because they're comfortable in it,"… Continue

We've all read a Golden Book when we were kids. They're a line of illustrated children's books.
These Golden Books here though, are not exactly suitable for children.
Josh Cooley, an artist at Pixar, has been whipping these up in his spare time for the past two years. Most are pretty self-explanatory. If I have to tell you the movie though, you won't get the joke.
Illustrated are famous scenes from movies like The… Continue
Universal Studio's publicity stunt: huge footprints left in the sand on Santa Monica Beach, complete with a crushed lifeguard vehicle for the new King Kong 3-D attraction, which opens at the theme park this summer.
This morning I watched this really interesting teaser for the upcoming movie PressPausePlay. It's a film about the change in production, distribution and consumption of creative works. More than just showing us how far we've come, this film is interesting because it shows us how the creative landscape is evolving into something that we, as a society, have never experienced before.
