Interesting new ad campaign for Mercedes-Benz's new Brake Assist System, an electronic system which interprets the braking behavior of the driver and initiates the full braking effect when it identifies an emergency situation. This reduces the braking distance substantially.

Tiger Woods, Derek Jeter and Roger Federer strut their greasy stuff to the Bee Gee's "Staying Alive" in Gillette's "Walk of Gillette" commercial. The TV ad launched on the same day the new Yankee Stadium opened.
Watching the ad left me with the same feeling as when I accidentally ate five pieces of Popeye's fried chicken the other day - oily and a little bit disgusted.
I don't care how many combined kajillions they're worth. They need to close… Continue

You don't belong to a special "members" only group that will get you into a swanky lounge where the peanuts are plenty and the Coke's are flowin'. So what do you do? You wait around, like thousands of others, contorting your body in an airport chair or trying to not look as silly as Joe Blow camping out… Continue
As many of you know by now, I love stylish clothes at reasonable prices. That's why I'm screaming Hallelujah today for Topshop's big, grand US opening in NYC!
Topshop isn't Forever 21 cheap, think of it more like the funkier and cooler older sister to H&M. It's a London phenomenon led by Sir Philip Green who so wisely plucked Kate Moss from cocaine… Continue

Gatorade's taking a gamble by rebranding themselves just by the letter "G". In these new commercials, mega rap star Lil' Wayne narrates a description of what "g" represents, as popular sports figures like Dwayne Wade, Serena Williams and Bill Russell stare into the camera.
"[G's] the emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty," Wayne says in the commercial. "It's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god.… Continue
