King Kong On Santa Monica Beach



Universal Studio's publicity stunt: huge footprints left in the sand on Santa Monica Beach, complete with a crushed lifeguard vehicle for the new King Kong 3-D attraction, which opens at the theme park this summer.

The new Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios



D'OH!! Sideshow Bob is loose from prison to get revenge on Krusty and the Simpson family at the new ride at Universal Studios Hollywood opened on May 19, 2008. Brady MacDonald of the Los Angeles Times described the ride as "visually stunning" and said it "truly delivers — with loads of in-jokes and satire for serious fanatics and tons of thrills and fun for casual fans."
