Stellar Stella Artois Campaign Integrating Flash and Facebook

Every now and then I am blown away by a campaign and this new Stella Artois campaign that is promoting a Cannes Film Festival weekend getaway really impressed me with their seamless integration of Facebook into their flash movie.

Check it out at Stella… Continue

Things Marketing People <3 - Hilarious blog

Things Marketing People Love

Marketing people are a different breed and I'm happy to be labeled as one because the more that I read this new blog, the more I point and laugh at myself. We're definitely cool people, but you have to question some of the things we like.

For example:…

Beautiful art inspired by your genetic makeup

Displaying DNA is no longer an art form perfected by Monica Lewinsky. With DNA 11, you can have your DNA displayed on your walls or even on your desk

These DNA portraits come in various colors and make great gifts to that one person in your life that has everything already. You'll have to sneak in a swab of their cheek cells while they're sleeping if you want to surprise them with one of these portraits. Prices… Continue

Seriously funny narration by a 6 year old

Funniest thing I've seen all day. I know the girl is probably being told what to say, but it's hilarious nonetheless.

Cubeecraft: Free paper toys for your desk!

How come nobody told me about Cubeecraft? There are a ton of cool templates that you can print out, cut, and fold into these awesome characters. I'm gonna make a few for my desk at work since it desperately needs some character.

You print something like this out:

Awesome new campaign by Kaplan University

Kaplan has moved well beyond those pesky SAT courses we all knew about years ago. With their new ad campaign that launched a couple of nights ago on primetime television, they have seriously challenged traditional higher education. It's a strong message they are conveying and this is a great time for them to do this with so many people unsure about their careers during this economic downtime.

What is your take on the message? Personally, I agree with them on… Continue

The new Pepsi challenge: Obama v. Coca-Cola

I can't help but think Obama when I see the new Pepsi logo. Is it subliminal? Is Pepsi pseudo-secretly wanting Obama in the White House? And will all Republicans drink Coke from now on? Coke is going to change their logo in support of McCain and will change their basic waves into waves of deceit *snicker*…

Trick or treat, Smell my feet, Goodwill's ad just can't be beat.

I can't help but laugh everytime this ad comes on. The message really sticks. New animated Halloween commercial from a campaign for Goodwill of Southern California created by The Miller Group, Los Angeles, CA. Characters illustrated by Andy Mueller and animated by Mind Over Eye of Santa Monica.

My favorite one is the vampire and the last character.

During this rough economy, why splurge on a costume this Halloween when you can put together a pretty good one at…

These three kids definitely have the funk

I saw this ad for the first time tonight. Supposedly has been out for longer than a year now. How on earth did I miss this great commercial? Have I been watching less TV than the average person?

Anyway, if and when I do have kids, I hope they are like these three dancing…

Don't let the sun go down on me

Indoor plants never get enough sunlight no matter where you place them and it's annoying to keep shuffling them around all the time to get maximum sun exposure. Didn't you ever wish that they could just sprout legs and find their own damn sunlight? The Play Coalition designed this four-legged contraption so you can spend more time playing Madden 09 and less time… Continue

The future of phones?

This clip has been on YouTube for awhile now but I just came across it after reading about the general direction of our communication devices. Is the advancement of nanotechnology the next step for our phones? With Android debuting tomorrow on the G1, I can only hope that the things we see in this clip is in our not-so-distant future.…
