The girls (me, my older sister Grace and her little one year old Ava Berry Cherry) set out for a day of sun and shopping today at Americana at Brand. After hearing enough friends rave about it, I had to check it out for the experience and my sister had to check it out for the shopping.
All I can say is....
Wow.
We got there around 11am (early enough to beat the crowds and get bomby parking). As bff Jay had said there… Continue

Coming to an amusement park or supermarket near you, Jury Hahn developed Mega-Phone, a multiplayer cell phone game where people can battle on a big-screen billboard. Just dial up a phone number and avatars representing the caller pop up on the screen. Control the avatar using a keypad or by speaking/shouting into the phone.
Love her next up: Letting callers add beat or images to a DJ's mix!…
My good friend Misa was at a Raiders game the day before Thanksgiving. She just got off the plane and went straight to the stadium. Her sister, Stacy, got her tickets on the floor....
Talk about taking in the moment....
(Love it when she actually follows the cheerleaders....)

In starting this site, I've gone through a countless number of ups and downs, my close friends and husband can attest, but with the launch now only a few days away, it's remembering these few words that help keep me focused....excitement, passion, hope.
Reading these articles about Ivanka Trump and Brett Radner - that they are doing what they love & then sharing it - now that's the… Continue

Interesting new website came out this month called Coolspotters. They claim they're making celebs honest by showing pics and videos of them actually using products, even touting buzz words like authenticity.
Below is an excerpt from CNBC:
Aaron: Consumers want authenticity. Look at almost every pop-culture or sports magazine today. They all have features… Continue

Totally NOT a horror movie fan but had to watch this trailer after reading this article in AdAge about how this was "inspired" by true events. Frickin scared the crap out of me. Unlike those zombie movies this movie plays to our real fears. Watch it with one eye open.
Synopsis: Lock the doors. Assume you're safe. The horrifying events that took place in the… Continue

Awesome, amazing story about the rise of Pinkberry. God love this woman (Shelly Hwang) for enduring multiple failures till she got it right. If you're a mochi fan like me...you'll need to ask for it....it's the secret topping they only bust out for the shaved ice mondo mega concoction. they should throw some red beans on there and call it what it is - paht bing-soo (for all you korean out there, you know what i'm taking about)!
So I'm not your crazy shopaholic (in fact, I'm just as happy with Old Navy tank tops) but when a friend tells you that NET-A-PORTER is having a sale on Jimmy Choos and Louboutins you listen. I'm not sure what it is about Louboutins - probably the clever way they branded that red sole - that makes me want to snatch them up, pull out that little black dress and rock out.
Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo, Chloe, Missoni etc etc.
Checkedee… Continue

Good article from the LA times about Clint Eastwood and his new movie debuting in the fall, Changeling (may be called The Exchange). Starring Angelina Jolie. I always like reading articles about people who march to their own drum or those that have a good sense of humor. Here are some excerpts:
About Angelina Jolie: "I'd kid her all the time," he says. "If I wanted to see her on the set I'd say, 'Get the Tomb Raider' or 'Get… Continue

I'm not a huge Sunset Strip fan....the parking and traffic there is always a nightmare. There must be a need to revive the area...hence the first annual Sunset Strip Music Festival...rockers may enjoy - all performances at the Roxy, Whisky A-Go-Go, House of Blues, Viper Room, Key Club and The Cat Club.
Larry King is hosting an "icon rountable" discussion, which might be interesting.

Like many of you, I remember MTV when they actually showed music videos. So that's probably why I still love watching them. Music videos and concerts enhance your connection to a song. Maybe it's the way the words come alive or maybe I just love seeing their fancy foot work. :)
