You are my Hero, Chef David Chang - For Calling Another Chef a Ninja!

I love how Chef David Chang speaks from his heart. Nothing better.

Charlie Rose's conversation with David Chang: David Chang is chef/owner of Momofuku Noodle Bar, Momofuku Ko and Momofuku Ssäm Bar in New York City. Chang has taken the food world by surprise, he has already won two James Beard awards and both Bon Appeitie and GQ named him chef of the year in 2007.…

My Modern Metropolis is Busting its Doors Open: July 28th (Monday) at 8am

As much as the Met has opened up new and exciting opportunities and ideas, it's also given me a fair amount of stress. Putting yourself out to the public is damn scary, I don't care who you are. So as much as I love conquering that fear, I can't help but struggle with it each and every day.

Here are the particular questions that have haunted me these past few weeks:

1. Will I ever feel ready to open up the Met to the public?

2.… Continue

First things first. No, I haven't gotten the new Apple iPhone 3G. (Cue sad face) :(

I still have my old iPhone (but have hopes of getting the new 3G, one day). But, can I just say that the new apps frickin rock my world?! I've only tried out three so far - the Yelp, Facebook and Typepad apps but have heard really good things about so many others. Derrick told me he's heard good things about Urban Spoon and I can't wait to try out… Continue

Beauty in Expressions: Sas Christian

At the Juxtapoz exhibit, there were a few paintings that literally stopped me in my tracks. One of them was of this girl. Up close...her mascara running, the expression in her face, the latex glove on her hand were so beautiful, so intriguing.

So I looked the artist of this painting up… Continue
