Tampon Chandelier

Fascinating isn't it? But wait, look closer, and you find yourself staring at tampons! Reminds me of my previous posts about Gummi Bears. At least you know this one's inedible! I wonder how many tampons were used in the making of this chandelier! :P

Skinput is like a whole new way of controlling things me thinks. It could become part of a skin-based interface that effectively turns your body into a touchscreen. Developed by Chris Harrison from Carnegie Mellon University, and Desney Tan and Dan Morris of Microsoft Research. More details here.…

Beautiful Paper Graphics by Yulia Brodskaya

I noticed that Yulia Brodskaya had been featured here on My Modern Met before, and it's great that she's receiving some recognition for her work. I decided to post more of her recent(which I assume are from 2009-2010?) artworks and they continue to dazzle and amaze me on what paper, scissors, and glue(the only tools I can think of at the moment) can do when… Continue

Sleek, sporty and sexy Laverda sidecar

So you've seen a sleek motorcyle, and you've seen a sleek car, but have you ever seen the two fused into one? Well, neither did I, until I came across this.

Chandelier made from 5,000 Gummi Bears.

I want this in my room!! Sorry to burst your bubble cause though they look sweet and tempting, they're not edible! Handstrung by Kevin Champeny, with approximately 5,000 acrylic gummi bears with a 31" diameter, it's a process that takes about 2 months to complete, and only 10 will be made, with each one slightly different.

They also sell gummi lights, which are… Continue

Though I posted this on my blog quite a while ago, I just thought I could share it here. The mastermind to this cunning concept's OhNo!Doom Collectives and I just find it amusing to see. :)
