Jay Alice and I super sad about losing in poker. haha
I was lucky enough to be invited to hang out with the superest coolest people on Saturday night, and we had a blast. I hadn't been to a shooting range in quite a while, so that was really fun. I had no idea what kind of arsenal Sam had! That rifle was intense! Next we went to this soul food place for dinner. THE FOOD WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD. After that we hung out and played poker.
My dad and I have season tickets to UCLA football and basketball games, and the UCLA/Tenn game was Monday. I had a good feeling about us winning even though we're not even ranked and Tennessee is like 15th... Anyway we won in over time. THE most exciting game I've ever been to. UNBELIEVABLE!
Here is an article about the game so you can read more about this awesome game.
So I decided I needed some retail therapy, and I had some Nordstrom gift cards, so I thought I'd go buy some new sexy shoes. I was set on a pair of these GORGEOUS brown Miu Miu booties. They are sooo amazing. They're $650.00 I know that sounds outrageous to some people... but I swear they are worth it!
So, I was all set to get them, and they swiped my 3 gift cards and CRAP 2 of them are each for $100 not $200 like I had thought. :( (the other one was for 85... I knew… Continue
So as most of you know, I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma (lymph node cancer). Now they think I have thyroid cancer. So I'm having surgery on the 3rd (next Wednesday) for a thyroidectomy. They will be removing all of my thyroid (both sides) so I'll have to be on thyroid meds for life... fun stuff. I had a consult with the surgeon on Monday and they said one of the possible complications of the surgery is to the nerve to your vocal chords. So they wanted to get a good idea of what my… Continue
I'm so sorry I couldn't find the version with the commentary on Youtube to embed in the post... so here is the link to the version you HAVE to watch with the blushing bride to be's commentary. Waffle House Wedding
This place is incredibly good. My favorites are the black magic pancakes with oreos... OR the Golden ticket with bananas and caramel.... sooooo good. Ooo and teachers pet. Apples and strudel. yummmmy.
They also have excellent french toast, omelette and other stuff. AND you have to get a side of the bacon, BEST bacon you'll ever EVER have.
They also have great french press… Continue

The Formosa Cafe is a restaurant and bar at 7156 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, California that has a long history of patronage from movie stars and movie industry people. Just saw this on Primetime: Medical Mysteries
Dede Koswara, popularly known across Indonesia as "Tree Man," has been living in a tropical hospital for months, where a team of doctors has been sawing away at the barklike growths that have slowly encased his entire body.
"This is the most remarkable case, the most severe case, I have seen in my career," said American doctor Anthony Gaspari at a news conference in Bandung, about a two-hour drive from capital city… Continue

Mondel Bread: Lulu’s modern twist on these traditional treats, home-baked to perfection with fine, fresh ingredients, resulting in an unusually crunchy yet tender biscotti-like cookie. That’s why it’s Better than Biscotti!
Okay guys, I've been trying SO HARD to keep my mouth shut on this site when it comes to Obama, because I know everyone here thinks he's the Second Coming or something, but I finally gotta weigh in since theres been plenty of McCain/Republican bashing going on.
::cracks knuckles:: Here we go.
I won't get into the politics to much here. I want to focus on how absurdly anti-American this dude and his wife are. They are on such a high horse talking about how… Continue

So, there are these things called Bot Flies... Heard of em?
GROSS
The genus Dermatobia contains only one species, D. hominis, the only species of bot fly that attacks humans (in addition to other primates). It is also known as the torsalo. In this species, the fly's eggs are vectored by mosquitoes and muscoid flies; the female Dermatobia captures the mosquito and attaches its eggs to the body of it, then releases it. Either the eggs hatch while the… Continue
