Savor Seattle Food Tours - Pike's Place Market, Seattle

On my trip to Seattle last week, I was so excited to revisit Pike's Place Market. This is by far the best outdoor farmer's market in the US that I've ever been to. The Market, which opened August 17, 1907, is one of the oldest continually-operated public farmer's markets in the United States. Smoked salmon, clam chowder, chocolate covered cherries, fresh fruits and vegetables - this is food heaven!!…

You know a room is perfect when you don't ever want to leave. The rooms are highly digital (free wifi and long distance calls along with a 40 " flat-screen HD TV ), the beds are SUPER comfortable (nice… Continue

His art has appeared in cities around the world. Nobody knows his real name, or even his true background, but many know his work and admire his creations.

"Banksy" is a legend in his own right. His street art typically combines graffiti writing with a distinctive stenciling technique and his artworks are often-satirical pieces of art on topics such as politics, culture, and ethics. The message is usually anti-war, anti-capitalist and/or… Continue

Alice and I checked out the Royal/T studio today, a 10,000 square foot art space, cafe, and retail store, which opened up a couple weeks ago. Just Love Me is the art studio's opening exhibition, which explores the complexity of cuteness, and the yearning it reveals in artistic expression today. We took a second to sit down and have lunch, and while being served by Japanese girls in maid costumes, we were fortunate enough to speak… Continue

S Bar - 6304 Hollywood Blvd.

I went to S Bar this last weekend and was impressed by this upscale, swanky bar. Funky, mismatched lamps strung from the ceiling, upside down. The European vibe consisted of framed art hanging on Victorian patterned wallpaper and comfortable, sleek couches. The crowd consisted of classy young professionals who were dancing to pop music mixed with dance beats. A cool place to kick it with friends and catch up.…
