This incredible dress was made out of 24,000 extremely thin 2mm x 2mm LEDs, thousands of tiny crystals to reflect the light, and enough batteries to power it for an hour. Called the GalaxyDress it is described as the "largest wearable display in the world". It is on display as the center piece of the "Fast Forward: Inventing the Future" exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The museum commissioned the dress for their permanent collection.
