I, myself, have been a bit burned by festivals - heaven help us if we forget the debacle that was the Gourmet Five Year Old Party (see blog post) or the Sushi and Sake festival which should have been called The Suckey festival (see past forum topic). Thought the Greek festival (which was never covered in a blog post) actually was done well (at least my moussaka filled tummy enjoyed it) and the Lotus festival was just fine.

All in all - this one may be worth checking out 'cause like they say on their website - Biz Bash thinks they're one of the top 10 food and wine events in SoCal. And if a leading trade for the event industry says it's so I'm more apt to want to go. I'll be out of town but if you go....good luck! For a cool benjamin I'm hoping it's good!

yup one whole benjamin. vip is $250 but with that you get access to Andrew's Cheese Shop, Beverly Hills Caviar, gourmet ales from the Beer Chick, sea salt tasting buffet from Saltistry, Madame Chocolat chocolates, gelatos and sorbest from Tutti Gelati, Champagnes with sommelier Bonnie Graves and more. but 2 1/2 benjamins?! yikes. they might as well throw in a back massage, a mani pedi and a facial for that price.

looked around to see if it was all you can eat but doesn't say anywhere - i called too but got vm. i am assuming so...for that price.
