Most people know of the Cannes Film festival but few, aside from those in the Ad industry, know about the Cannes Lions International Ad Festival, the most prestigious international ad festival around. As this year's winner of the Grand Prix awards for Outdoor Advertising and Promotion - HBO's "Voyeur" weaved together 11 different elements, including a compelling video-rich Web site, an outdoor projection, TV and print.
The Voyeur Project out last summer featured follows about eight residents in a New York apartment building. Silent movie stories unfold on a set that looks as if the exterior wall of the building was removed so that people could peek inside.
