I was recently in Boston on a business trip, and stayed at the Nine Zero Hotel. I'd never stayed at a Kimpton Hotel, but I will definitely look for them whenever I am traveling now. The hotel had great friendly staff, and awesome amenities for decent prices.
Located right on the freedom trail in Boston, the hotel is in a great location right across the street from the graveyard that holds not only Sam Adam's grave, but also the grave of the people killed in the Boston Massacre.

The lobby is super chic with bright colors and striped chairs. Everything us super modern and aesthetically pleasing.
Here are some pictures of my room and bathroom:

AAAND they couldn't have had a better stocked in room bar: (small picture, I know)

FYI-- From their site:
Kimpton Hotels was a pioneer in ecologically aware hotels in the U.S., a trend that started at this boutique hotel. Today, there’s an extensive recycling program and energy-efficient everything, and virtually every piece of paper — from your in-room napkins to your bill — are made from recycled material. And the eco-rooms have water-saving devices, water filtration systems and air purifiers. But whether you’re at a Kimpton in D.C., Denver, or any other of the chain’s other hotels, you’re not ruining the Earth -- the entire company has adopted many of these eco-practices.
