Urban HOTspot: Rooftop pool party at the Standard Hotel: Downtown LA

Summer is here, So Cal is scorching, and it's time to jump in the pool! Every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-7pm, the Standard Hotel in Downtown LA hosts a raging rooftop pool party! Listen to different DJ's every week while you enjoy your drink, the view, and your nice new tan. I haven't gone yet but have heard good things about it and plan to go soon.

Tips:
-Call the hotel to find out who is promoting the day you want to go. RSVP and arrive early for a discounted cover. After 2pm the cover charge is $20
-Try to go early before all the water-bed pods are taken.
-Don't forget the sunscreen!
