New Restaurant/Bar/Lounge Opening in Culver City: Rush Street

Last weekend, Sam and I were walking around Culver City and peeked our head into this new place opening up, called Rush Street. Brian McKeaney, the owner, was kind enough to give us the grand tour of the place. We couldn't take any pictures but we can tell you that we were really impressed. They put in a lot of money and effort into the dark wood interior and the beautiful artwork hanging all around.

Brian called today and invited us to a private opening this Friday. We're excited to have been asked to attend and will report back our findings! They'll officially open Saturday the 12th for dinner.

Can't wait to check it out, Brian!

Rush Street writes...Chicago's rowdy Rush Street comes to Culver City in the form of a restaurant, bar and lounge. Executive chef Dave Northrup will focus on "bar-centric" dishes like buffalo chicken dumplings with blue cheese and fried shallot dressing, pulled barbecue pork sliders and Kobe pigs-in-a-blanket, plus grilled New Zealand lamb racks and brick oven-cooked pizzas.

The place looked amazing, they even have a built in dj booth upstairs! Too cool, looking forward to checking out the food.
