MIXING VINTAGE AND MODERN AT THE ROSE BOWL FLEA MARKET

$8 admission Every second Sunday of the month (July 13th)
9am-3pm

I personally love flea markets and vintage shopping. I like the idea of finding one of a kind piece’s that bring a little bit of the past into the present. So, I was looking around for new places to checkout and I think I came across what may be the mother of all flea markets.

Every second Sunday of the month, the market has over 2,500 vendors of antiques, vintage clothing, arts & crafts, and new & unusual products. Yelpers and Elle magazine rave about the enormity of the market and all of its great vintage finds. Even celebrities like; Madonna, Cher, Ashley Olsen, and Gwen Steffani have taken notice. It's a great place to find furniture, cheap books, and vintage accessories.

A survival guide to the rose bowl flea market:

1) arrive early
2) wear sun block
3) wear comfortable shoes
4) bring a large bottle of water
5) bring cash and a checkbook (for bigger purchases)
7) stay in the outer ring if you're shopping for vintage

Warning:
-If you hate the heat you might want to go in the cooler months.
-If you need structure and organization in your shopping this is probably not your thing.
