Mike Stilkey - Slightly All The Time @ Kinsey/DesForges Gallery: Culver City

Opening reception July 12, 7pm-10pm

What caught my eye about the work of Mike Stilkey isn't how he draws on paper, but how he draws on books. Using a mix of ink, colored pencil, paint and lacquer, Stilkey depicts characters that often seem deep in thought, somber, and sometimes whimsical. A Los Angeles native, Mike's work will be shown until August 16th at the Kinsey/DesForges Gallery with the opening ceremony on July 12th from 7pm-10pm.
