Rated 4 our of 5 stars on yelp, I was simply expecting a bit more. Located in the heart of Downtown LA, Suede Bar is in the Bonaventure Hotel and just opened on June 22nd of this year. The bar can fit about 100 people max and has comfortable suede couches and chairs. The bright red seating along with the red lighting is a bit overwhelming and a tad cheesy.
The Highlights:
- the DJ was playing good dance music.
- the bartender and doorman were really nice.
Tips:
The best time to go is during happy hour which is 4pm-7pm when well drinks, wine, beer, and appetizers are $4.
Who should go:
I would recommend this place for people who work in Downtown LA and are looking for a posh spot to drink after work to avoid traffic, otherwise you're not missing anything that special.
