That was a damn good race. I DVR'd the relay and replayed it over and over again to relive the moment when the U.S. "smashed" the French!

haha! i couldn't help it! damn the internet (ny times) and my dang curiosity for getting the better of me. oh and thanks for being on the met! :)

i don't think the frenchie chocked, btw. 32 yr old lezak swam a 46.06, the fastest relay leg in history! the guy had some making up to do after being on the losing team twice. it was pure motivation after the french team trashed the u.s. team in the papers! yippeeeee! or as michael phelps said...."GROAN!"
