Cher Cast as Catwoman

OK .. maybe you jinxed it, A. I guess it is officially "Are you f-ing serious" Day.

Holly Batman! Cher at age 62 is set to star as Catwoman in the Dark Knight sequel formerly called The Caped Crusader. Cher as Catwoman would be opposite Christian Bale as Batman and Johnny Depp as The Riddler. Reportedly Cher will be nothing like the Catwoman played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry. (duh?!)

A studio executive said: “Cher is Nolan’s first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s purring creations.”

Hmm an "old vamp" .. Why don't they just cast that lady from Boomerang? Or Matthew McConaughey's mom? or my Grandma?
