Forget About Sprinkles~~

If you are ever in south OC, instead of jumping on the Sprinkles bandwagon, I highly recommend going to Sweet Lorraines cupcake boutique down in Irvine at the Spectrum. Located near the giant ferris wheel, across from Macy's, in between Bebe and Golden Spoons is this cute little cupcake shop called Sweet Lorraines. I went there on the recommendation of a friend and I am so glad I did. Their cupcakes and frosting are to die for. The cupcakes are moist and airy. It seems less greasy and oily than Sprinkles and the frosting is sooooo creamy. It's like the kind your mother used to bake you. Sweet Lorraines doesn't have the frills and fanfare like Sprinkles with their cute packaging and utensils but what you do get is a pretty darn good cupcake. Get the red velvet....
