
Got a Benjamin? Love Food? Free This Sunday? Ready to check out yet another food festival this time in downtown Los Angeles!?
What?:
It's called Savor the Season. Chef Andre Guerrero of Max and The Oinkster will be presiding over a roster of culinary talent that includes Gerard Ochoa of
El Cholo (hmm ok), Chad Minton at
Jer-ne at Ritz-Carlton (getting better), and Bijan Shokatfard of
Geoffrey's (ok might be worth it), among many others. Drinks will be provided by Simi Winery, The Edison, Singha Beer, Tommy Bahama Rum, and Voss Water for you boozers!

I, myself, have been a bit burned by festivals - heaven help us if we forget the debacle that was the Gourmet Five Year Old Party (
see blog post) or the Sushi and Sake festival which should have been called The Suckey festival (see
past forum topic). Thought the Greek festival (which was never covered in a blog post) actually was done well (at least my moussaka filled tummy enjoyed it) and the
Lotus festival was just fine.
All in all - this one may be worth checking out 'cause like they say on their website - Biz Bash thinks they're one of the top 10 food and wine events in SoCal. And if a leading trade for the event industry says it's so I'm more apt to want to go. I'll be out of town but if you go....good luck! For a cool benjamin I'm hoping it's good!
