The world’s largest lobster fest is taking place this weekend in San Pedro (30 minutes south of Downtown LA). Thirteen tons of lobster are flown in from the Gulf of Maine for the event, though other food stands selling items like sausages and shrimp fajitas are present. The $8 admission fee gets you in, and $17 buys a discounted Maine lobster dinner featuring a 1.25 pound lobster served with coleslaw, a roll, and "lots of yummy buttery topping." After feasting on the world famous lobster meals, guests can enjoy dancing, a LobsterDog Pet Parade, street performers, a pirate camp, tall ships, shopping for arts and crafts, and live music. Check out the music and entertainment lineup.
