Oh Ms. Stefani...In This Month's Domino?

I'm not sure when it exactly happened, Gwen. Perhaps we've always had this bond..you went to school in Anaheim...me Anaheim Hills! Or maybe it was when you married that hunka hunka burning love, Gavin Rossdale, in that white and pink Galliano showing us that designer duds could be edgy.

I'll forgive you for using my Japanese sisters (aka harajuki girls) as props...I guess inspiration has to come from somewhere and why not give props to your most devoted fans?! Yeah...still not right. It's ok...the HP ad was brilliant...still one of my favs.

Oh and what joy is it for me to see you in this month's Domino mag - showing off your sexy self while giving us a glimpse into your world of uptown glamor? Thank you, dear, for embracing Deco-inspired chandeliers and baby-blue chairs! Love your inspiration wall. Mine? Still in the works...

Comment by alice on September 27, 2008 at 10:11pm: i agree with you, karkar. her music can be hit or miss..i'm not even a huge fan of her l.am.b. line...but she definitely knows how to be a rock star and i can appreciate that. her trademark bleached blond hair and red lips are so glam..and you can tell that she's getting some of her style influence from the 60s, which is cool.

I think she does such a great job of constantly reinventing herself and looking flawless. Her style is very inspiring to me. Repeating the phrase "wind it up" over and I over with some techno music in the background... Not so inspiring.
