What used to be a boring bridge crossing the Han River in the Korean capital of Seoul is now a major tourist attraction. Banpo Bridge has been remodeled into a massive and beautiful fountain that shoots water down, not up. Installed on September 9th, 380 nozzles on both sides of the bridge pump out 190 tons of water from the han river per minute. Seoul Mayor Se-Hoon, said that the landmark will help to establish Seoul as an environment-friendly, economic and cultural center and will contribute to attracting more tourists and improving the quality of life for residents.
