Facebook is Getting Bono in Trouble!: Is the Family Man Really Just a Playboy?

I'm not a huge tabloid reader but when I see one of my favorite rock stars in trouble because of Facebook, you know we're gonna talk about it. Last month, Bono and Edge went to St. Tropez to "hang out" with two 19 year old girls. And just as 19 year old girls do...one of them had to post up the pics and sent a public message to her friend, "‘So Bono and Simon called me yesterday and they arrived in Cannes today, so looks like we’ll have a plan! :)" Oh, silly girl! Didn't you know you'd be in getting not only your little self but one of the biggest, most well respected rock stars in trouble?

The images show Bono wearing his trademark hat and sunglasses while drinking cocktails with the two girls at the Nikki Beach bar in St Tropez, famous for its ‘champagne battles’ where guests spray fizz at each other.

In one image, the Make Poverty History campaigner clutched Miss Feick’s hand to his chest theatrically while Carmody put his hand on Miss Emerson’s knee.

Later that evening, they took a stroll along the beach, where Bono put his arm around Miss Feick’s waist and then wrapped himself around Miss Emerson’s neck.

They made their way to a luxury yacht – thought to be the Cyan, a $12 million, 140ft yacht with six cabins, owned by U2 guitarist The Edge.

Are we surprised? Sure Bono's been married to the same woman for 26 years, his marriage looked upon as one to be admired. But the bloody man is a frickin rock star, I guess if you have 19 year olds throwing themselves on your 48 year old body, you may be tempted too. What gets me is that FACEBOOK is calling it out. Not really Facebook but the younger generation that may not know life before the internet.

So today, in the internet world, Bono will fall from some people's graces and become human again. Bono becomes Paul David Hewson, a man who like many of us, is subject to temptation. God help us. Maybe marrying a rock star ain't what it's cracked up to be.
