Savor Seattle Food Tours - Pike's Place Market, Seattle

On my trip to Seattle last week, I was so excited to revisit Pike's Place Market. This is by far the best outdoor farmer's market in the US that I've ever been to. The Market, which opened August 17, 1907, is one of the oldest continually-operated public farmer's markets in the United States. Smoked salmon, clam chowder, chocolate covered cherries, fresh fruits and vegetables - this is food heaven!!

Savor Seattle Food Tours specializes in guided walking food tours of Pike Place Market's vibrant culinary scene. Personal audio devices are provided to each tour participant, while tour guides highlight local artisans and restaurants whose foods are revered throughout Seattle.

There is a reason that Savor Seattle is rated as the #1 tourist attraction in Seattle by TripAdvisor. The two hour taste-fest is the best way to find out what the best goodies are in the market and perfect for selecting gifts to send back. At a cost of $39, I wouldn't recommend doing it any other way.
