So Sam and I set out for Hollywood & Highland today to check out a few key sights, one of them being The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The Roosevelt Hotel is pretty gosh darn old, having first been built 1927 but it was remodeled in 2005 by designer Dodd Mitchell making it a hot spot now for young celebs. Here's a quick history of the place on Wikipedia.
Next, we had lunch at 25 Degrees, which refers to the temperature difference between a medium rare and well done burger. Burger was actually really good - it was the ground sirloin that made it juicy and delicious. You also got to choose from a selection of cheeses and you basically build your own burger. Herb fries were super delish.
Loved the textured wallpaper and the hottie that I had Sam take a picture of. Sis, Grace, swears this is Dave Annable from Brothers and Sisters but most likely not...Either way, he was a true hottie! (That's me in the corner, Sam's pretending to take a picture of me...yes, I am shameless.)
The service was pretty great - they didn't have that pretentious air that you would expect from a Hollywood hot spot. Connor, our waiter, was a pretty cool cat...
Had to check out the pool while we were there...
