If there is one woman who's style I admire, for her fearlessness, for her boldness, for her willingness to push limits...it is Kelly Wearstler. You may have seen her as a judge on Bravo's Top Design or you may have seen her work at Santa Monica's Viceroy or Hard Rock's Body English. I came across her book, Modern Glamour, one day when I was at a Barnes & Noble. Do I love everything she does, no - sometimes it's a bit too bold - but her to use color and texture in such a way to create personality in a room is quite amazing.
Here's a small excerpt from the Foreward by Marian McEvoy: Like all visually creative people, Kelly's got a confidant, curious eye, coupled with an ability to invent and bring seemingly disparate elements together...she has a deep personal relationship with glamour. Kelly's glamorousness informs every room she designs. And, just to add a little more to the mix, she's fearless.
Check out her website for some inspiration on your next design project.
