THE TATA NANO
The 50 mpg Tata Nano, aka the people's car, is a proposed car introduced by India's Tata Motors at the 9th annual Auto Expo on January 10, 2008 in New Delhi, India. With a $3000 price-tag, this snap- together car could be just what Indians need and can actually afford, (the middle class household income in India starts at $6000.) But when millions of these tiny little cars hit the streets, it could paralyze the subcontinent.
