A Modern Boutique Hotel: "Stay" in New York

If you're looking to travel to New York and want to stay at a boutique hotel that's high on style but low on cost, what do you do? You ditch the idea of a W and you look to spend your nights at Stay.

This 210-room hotel has all of the comforts you'll need, all for an unbelievable average night's rate of $152. The hotel is decorated with crazy cool Murano glass chandeliers and an amazing 18,000 gallon aquarium.

The burnt orange decorated rooms come with 42-inch plasma screens and L'Occitane amenities.

Saunter on down to Aspen Social Club, the hotel's small-plates restaurant, that's decorated like a modern Colorado cabin. Designed by Steve Lewis and Mark Dizon, the décor of the eatery/nightspot boasts a gorgeous $100,000 ceramic antler chandelier, a fake fireplace, and a glass wall etched with tree trunks.

Finally a few tips from Travel and Leisure, since Aspen Social Club gets loud, book your room on the west side for a peaceful night's sleep. Also, pack light, there's not much luggage space!
