Encore Suites, the new addition to Steve Wynn's sprawling Las Vegas resort, is on schedule to open on December 22 2008. The all-suites tower will feature 2034 suites, spanning in size from 700 square feet (larger than the Panoramic and Tower Suite rooms at Wynn Las Vegas) all the way up to two-floor VIP suites with 5,800 square feet of space. Some suites will feature sitting areas separated by half walls and flat panel TVs that will swivel to face into different rooms.
Encore will feature five restaurants (listed below), seven bars and lounges, new spas, and XS, a nightclub managed by Victor Drai (yes, of Drai's fame).

* Switch - French / Steak & Seafood (Marc Poidevin)
* Wazuzu - Asian bistro (Chef Jet Tila)
* Botero Steak - Steakhouse (Chef Mark LoRusso)
* Society Cafe Encore - Casual (Chef Kim Canteenwalla)
The new structure is located to the north of Wynn Las Vegas, across the street from where The Plaza and Echelon will be erected (where the New Frontier and Stardust hotel/casinos used to be).
Here are some photos (released in September). Somehow I expected the "swivel TV" feature to uh, look nicer? I mean, I have that at home. Wait, does that make me VIP?
