My Modern Metropolis

Adobe Builds First Virtual Digital Museum

If today's digital media were to be displayed in a museum it would, of course, have to be in a virtual building. Opening in August 2010, the Adobe Museum of Digital Media (AMDM) will feature groundbreaking exhibitions of electronic design and will show how digital media is shaping today's society. Unlike traditional museums, AMDM will be open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, accessible from anywhere in the world.

Italian architect Filippo Innocenti is collaborating with designer Piero Frescobaldi on the design of the modern building.

Overseen by guest curators, who are recognized leaders in the field of art, technology, or business, AMDM promises to be an exciting place to see what's happening in this ever growing medium!
