There's something about seeing beautiful gowns juxtaposed with abandoned or decrepit buildings that makes photos like these look fascinating. For the January issue of Marie Claire Turkey, photographer Ayten Alpun shoots model Kira Mazura as she comes home to her old and empty house. Somewhat haunting yet stunningly beautiful.

The way he plays with colors is just fantastic! Lovely dresses - so soft and graceful- the distressed background is a perfect idea!!

The juxtaposition really draws the viewer into the dress. Ayten Alpun most definitely knows how to capture a gorgeous photograph. On a side note, Kira Mazura slightly resembles Brooke Shields.
