Al Capone’s Eastern State Penitentiary Cell


Where did legendary gangster Al Capone spend his recreational time after he was captured? Inside this cell at Eastern State Penitentiary, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The correctional facility was operational from 1829 through 1971. The self-named Chicago-based outfit "Capones" became infamous for smuggling and bootlegging liquor, and other illegal activities such as prostitution, from the early 1920s to 1931.

Looks like a small comfy living room to me, not a cell. Guess the criminals have it good on the inside too.
