This video reminds me that I need to get off my lazy booty and get myself a bike. Really though, I like how it gives you an inside look into Amsterdam's famous bike culture. The video plays more like a Current bit than a commercial. Though it's created by bike manufacturer, Kona Bikes, it never feels like a sales pitch. It's more of a gentle reminder that people from around the world share in the cycling experience.

On a related note, read about one man's journey through Amsterdam in 2006. It's a fantastic series of pictures that illustrate the bike scene in Amsterdam - and how it differs from a U.S. city like San Francisco.

That's nice. You catch a lot on foot or on bike that you otherwise miss driving in a cage. But cars are a good thing too.
