Amy Sol's Gold Embellished Water Dragon

Being that we're in 2012, the year of the Dragon, I've been looking forward to seeing some our favorite artists' unique interpretations of the grand beast. Amy Sol does not disappoint. She will be releasing a new, limited edition print tomorrow called Water Dragon that's in her trademark, dream-like style. "This is an illustrated piece I created last year for My Plastic Heart Gallery‘s Zodiac Show," she says on her website. "The theme of this annual show is based on the the characters of the Chinese zodiac. I choose water dragon ~ which is this year!

"For each print, I embellished a little touch of gold to the dragon's face, just to add a flicker of light. Happy New Year! X, Amy."

Tomorrow, January 28th at 2pm PST, there will only be 50 signed and numbered giclee prints released. More information can be found on Amy's shop.
