Modern Seascape Cottage Nestled in Rock Escarpment Offers Relaxing Oceanviews

Nestled into a rock escarpment at the end of New Zealand's peninsula Banks sits the luxurious Annandale Seascape Cottage. Architectural firm Pattersons designed the abode as a honeymoon retreat, which offers a true getaway–it's completely secluded and only accessible via a helicopter or a cliff-top drive along farm tracks. Here, guests can fully disconnect from the outside world and take in the comforting sounds of the nearby ocean.

The Seascape Cottage has just three rooms and sleeps a maximum of two people, with access to an outdoor fireplace and spa, wet room, and studio kitchen. Its large, floor-to-ceiling windows give the entire space an open and airy feel, which are enhanced by the gorgeous styling of the decor. The neutral tones, concrete floors, and timber wood are a perfect complement to the rolling hillsides and rocky beach.
