Aria, CityCenter, and Mandarin Oriental Sky Bar (17 photos)

The beautiful waterfall in front of Aria

I had low expectations before I arrived at Aria in Las Vegas. One of my good friends stayed there the weekend before, and told me that he didn't care for it too much.

To my pleasant surprise, I really enjoyed my stay at Aria. Although the themes on the casino floor seemed to awkwardly overlap each other, the room, restaurants, and beautiful waterfall outside made up for it. I also really liked how CityCenter was only a walk away. Annie and I had the pleasure of checking out Eva Longoria Parker's new restaurant, Beso, and after dinner, we had drinks at the Mandarin Oriental Sky Bar.

Here are some photos from the past few days:

This bedside touchscreen control panel was a nice touch.

Another Aria highlight was this decadent dessert store. It had something for everyone.

Annie and I both liked the food and overall vibe...

We took some pictures at a couple galleries in CityCenter...

The view was amazing...

Overall, I would recommend staying at Aria. The hotel was pretty nice, the service didn't disappoint, and there's lots to do around the area. Thanks for taggin' along!

Nice photos! but the place kinda looks like downtown Hong Kong or Singapore. Not much of a getaway from an urban crawl...

Lol Martin I was thinking the same thing about the blue glass installation.
And that golden wall looks so cool...trippy.

How nice to share those pictures with us Eugene!

And Annie you're so pretty. ^^

Hope you both had a great time - it certainly looks like it. Good to see that there is more to Las Vegas than casinos and shows. Loved the Dale Chihuly (I think!) glass sculpture.
