Wow, what talent! We've just completed the first week of My Modern Met's Art of Photography contest, sponsored by YPOC, and we just have to say that we're in awe! You've submitted some incredibly inspiring work, making it tough for us to narrow down our favorites....

We had so many great entries we couldn't put all the ones we wanted to in this post. That being said, here are ten that really stood out. If you don't see yours here, don't feel discouraged. You're all still in the running!

Adam Hribar

Warna Zoer

Greg Schmigel

Juraj Holub

Max Berkowitz

Diego Tabango

Ryan Dayrit

Mahmut Mollaahmed

Nuno Serrão

  • Awesome photo's thank you, but being a great lover of all hues of purple, the flower pic grabbed my attention a tad longer!
  • I like stars in the night. They remind me some nights of my childhood in my tiny village, when the pollution was not so important as now.
  • КЛАСС!!!
  • Very nice ones :)) ... like the boy with glasses :D:D
  • wow...
  • Honored you chose to feature my SURFSIDE SUNSET image this week as a top ten pick. Congrats to all who had images featured and a shout out to Greg Schmigel whose NYC street photography is inspiring.
  • Thanks a lot :)
  • @Max - I'm pretty certain you'll be able to find it in the Week 2 flickr set. Look forward to that update on Monday! =)
  • hmm I don't see my submission on the flickr page? :(
  • @Madeline-I can see the resemblance. It definitely has to do with the city.
