Audrey Kawasaki's work is both stunning and beautiful. Her sharp graphic imagery, combined with the natural grain of the wood panels she paints on, brings an unexpected warmth to her mysterious young subjects. Her style has been described as a fusion of Art Nouveau and Japanese manga.
Based in LA, Audrey is 26 and spent two years at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn learning fine arts painting. After touring to Rome this September, she will return to LA in November for the "drawing show" at the
Thinkspace Gallery.
