Dan-Ah Kim describes herself as a "Brooklyn-based artist with a lot of wanderlust." It's no surprise then that she says her work is "narrative, slightly surreal experiences and adventures that are interested in exploring the world." I love the stories she tells in each piece, it's like she's tapping into our imaginations and asking us to remember what it's like to be a kid again. On top of that, her use of white space is striking.

  • They remind me of the illustrations you used to find in childrens books. I remember staring at some of those for hours on end lost in my imagination.
  • I really really like! Subtle yet powerful at the same time. This is my kind of art....
