Berlin, Germany-based photographer Jens Fersterra knows how to pay respect to his city. Though he's skiled in landscape photography, having shot the rolling fields in Tuscany and the beautiful waterfalls and volcanoes in Iceland, Festerra's most mesmerizing photos are taken right in his own neighborhood.

With careful attention paid to light, contrast, patterns and lines, the photographer turns the metropolis into a majestic and mesmerizing place. With world renowned museums, galleries, cathedrals, and a grand opera, the German capital city offers something for everyone - from the old and traditional to the modern and futuristic.
