My Modern Metropolis

Because you all have great tastes...

Okay, so I'm very excited about my new place. At first, I had a little bit of renter's remorse because the apartment is smaller than the place I was at before. The Brown Couch of Death was the most comfortable piece of furniture I've ever owned; I've fallen into blissful sleep on it many a nights. Because it's smaller, the BCOD wouldn't have fit in the new living room, so I got rid of it and the loveseat.

It turned out to be blessing in disguise. I now had an opportunity to outfit my new apartment with upgraded digs. So I bought the couch pictured above today, to be delivered on Tuesday. My question to you, my fellow Metropolites: do you have any suggestions on an armchair that would go well with the new couch? I trust you because you all have great tastes.

Thanks for the help.

Wish I had a great suggestion, but the couch looks amazingly comfy. I'm so jealous. I have to go through life with my bland maroon couch my wife bought.

@Sam: I ordered from Plummers. I checked out all the stores at Helm's (and stopped by Father's Office for a burger and a beer), and decided that this was the best fit for my tastes and my budget. The couch I REALLY wanted would've set me back $5000.00+.

The Goetz Sofa by Herman Miller.

@E: Hey, that chair is pretty tight. $4500 for it? If I had that kind of scratch, I'd buy 2.

Wow, that couch looks super comfy. It's tough getting rid of old furniture, especially the really comfortable kind. Where did you order the couch from? Love the reclining backs.

Oh yeah. Forgot to mention it's made with skateboard decks. Check it.
