NASAโ€™s Solar Probe Captures the Highest Resolution Photo of the Sun Ever

The Solar Orbiter, an international collaboration between NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) launched in February 2020. Since then, it has acquired data that helps astronomers better understand the volatile solar surface and predict solar storms. Aided by its 10 state-of-the-art instruments, it is the most complex scientific laboratory sent by humankind to our nearest star.

NASAโ€™s Perseverance Rover Has Discovered Potential Signs of Ancient Microbial Life on Mars

Since its arrival on Mars in February 2021, NASAโ€™s Perseverance Mars rover has explored the red planet to look for clues of past life and whether it was ever habitable. Now, it seems to have found its most significant lead. According to a paper published in Nature, a sample collected by Perseverance could hold evidence of ancient microbial life. The key piece was found on an ancient dry riverbed in Jezero Crater.
