Bodies Frozen in Time

If Christopher Jonassen's Point of View series can teach us anything, it's that you don't need huge sets or big production numbers to create compelling images. You just have to see things from a different perspective. "I’m fascinated with the human body in a state of transition between motion and stillness, and I wanted to experiment with different ways for people to react to their environments," Jonassen tells us.

The first photo in this series is a self-portrait. All were taken in Sydney, Australia except for the one with the hood and the blue doorway, which was taken in Norway.

If Christopher Jonassen's name sounds familiar, you may remember him from his creative series about frying pans that resemble moons and planets.
