Making Meals Fun with Sports-Themed Plates

Playing with your food seems to be the theme of the day today! We've seen Boguslaw Sliwinski's ceramic designs before and this time he takes us on new food adventures with these sports-themed plates. The Polish designer creates his ceramic plates based on the idea that meals should be filled with creativity and fun. He says, “Every parent knows what a nightmare feeding can be. Telling a child: do not play with your food, just eat. That is why I created these plates in spite of the principles used by mothers around the world, that food should not be played with.”

The sports series features a silhouette figure performing many sports-related activities including kicking, pulling, skydiving, and lifting. Turn beets into a soccer ball or brocolli into a parachute and kids might find vegetables a bit more exciting! The 10″ diameter white ceramic is highly durable and dishwasher safe.
